We highly recommend out of town guests book accommodations well in advance, as our wedding weekend also falls during UCSC graduation.

Air Travel

• Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC)

  • This is the nearest major airport, located 30 miles from Santa Cruz county. It offers a wide range of domestic and international flights and is the easiest to navigate in our opinion!

• Monterey Regional Airport (MRY)

  • About 45 miles from Santa Cruz, this airport serves the Monterey Peninsula area and offers a smaller selection of flights compared to San Jose.

• San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

  • While farther away at 65 miles, SFO is one of the largest and busiest airports in the region, offering a vast array of domestic and international flights.

• Oakland International Airport (OAK)

  • Located 70 miles from Santa Cruz, Oakland Airport is another major airport serving the San Francisco Bay Area, with a variety of flight options.

Ground Transportation

• Turo

  • Turo is the world's largest peer-to-peer car sharing service, where you can book any car you want, wherever you want it, from local hosts. We’ve used the app several times and always had a great experience. You can coordinate pick ups from your airport through the app.

• Hertz & Enterprise

  • Both commercial car rental companies have locations near each airport and are extremely reliable.

• Uber and Lyft

• Rideshare services are available from the Bay Area to Santa Cruz County, and around Santa Cruz. Note: If calling a ride in Santa Cruz late at night, you may experience longer wait times or have a harder time booking a car.
